As huge aviation fans, we just couldn\u2019t keep our eyes off of the first fully appointed VVIP Boeing 787 as it flew into EBACE 2016<\/a> over the weekend. <\/em><\/p>\n

As the ultimate in luxury airliners these incredible machines comes with some of the most eye-drooling interiors you\u2019ll ever see, and none more so than the much anticipated VVIP. <\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s the first fully outfitted BBJ 787-8, following a close collaboration led by Kestrel Aviation and involving Greenpoint Technologies and Pierrejean Design Studio of Paris<\/a>. And it basically comes with more luxury fixtures and fittings than your average superyacht.<\/p>\n

From the main lounge with its divans, tables and 55 inch flat-screen monitors to the en-suite master bedroom, a truly indulgent space dubbed \u201ca sanctuary for rest and rejuvenation\u201d by its designers, we\u2019re pretty sure this is a jet most of us could happily live on all year round.<\/p>\n

The luxury interior is awash with leather bulkheads, hardwood floors and custom artworks, all carefully thought out to create the most incredible space. The passenger experience is controlled by bespoke tablets so they can manage everything from the lighting to the seats to in-flight entertainment and staff requests all from the comfort of a small flat screen.<\/p>\n

Thankfully the flight crew are well taken care of too. Private custom sleeping quarters come with individual storage space for each crew member, long with private flight attendant areas in both the fore and aft cabins.<\/p>\n

It really has to be the ultimate luxury travel experience. The designers boast of organic soft earth tones, intuitive mood lighting and smooth flowing lines. And needless to say all those pesky noises and vibrations have been removed, thanks to some of the most extensive soundproofing in the history of aviation.<\/p>\n

They\u2019ve even given a lot of thought to your senses of taste and smell too, with an incredibly sophisticated array of air distribution, filtration systems. This is something that was sorely missing on our red-eye back from LA last summer!<\/p>\n

All BBJ aircraft are based upon the 737 series of airliners from Boeing. As the video below shows they are simply some of the most stunning aeroplane interiors ever imagines by humankind; genuine palaces in the sky.<\/p>\n
